Elbow Ice Pack by Cold One® Stops
Pain, Swelling and Inflammation From
Tennis Elbow

  • The Elbow Needs More Than a Generic Ice Pack

The elbow is one of the most complex joints in the body — layered with tendons, ligaments, and nerves that all run close to the surface. Tennis Elbow, Golfer's Elbow, UCL sprains, and tendinitis are notoriously resistant to treatment because most people apply inadequate cold therapy: a loose ice bag wrapped in a towel that warms in minutes, covers the wrong part of the joint, and applies no compression whatsoever. Cold One® was designed to deliver simultaneous cold and compression, at the right temperature, for the right duration — in a wrap you can put on in under 30 seconds.

    USTA Recommended for Tennis Elbow

The United States Tennis Association's recommends ice and compression for the treatment of Tennis Elbow (lateral epicondylitis). This is not a paid endorsement — it reflects Cold One's alignment with established standards for elbow soft tissue injury management. The USTA's recommendation is specifically tied to maintaining a consistent 32°F for the 15–20 minute icing window and to apply compression directly to the lateral epicondyle — the tendon attachment point where Tennis Elbow pain originates.

Conditions This Wrap Is Designed to Treat

Cold One® Elbow Wrap is appropriate for: Tennis Elbow (lateral epicondylitis) — inflammation of the tendons attaching to the lateral epicondyle; Golfer's Elbow (medial epicondylitis) — inflammation of the tendons attaching to the medial epicondyle; UCL sprains and partial or complete tears; cubital tunnel syndrome (ulnar nerve compression); elbow bursitis; olecranon bursitis; elbow tendinitis from overuse (pitchers, rowers, climbers, weightlifters, keyboard workers); post-surgical recovery from UCL reconstruction (Tommy John surgery) or total elbow replacement; and elbow sprains and strains from acute injury.

    Three-Layer Construction

Cold One® wraps are built from three integrated, stretchable layers. The outer layer of nitrogen-blown neoprene provides thermal insulation and prevents condensation on the outside. The middle layer contains non-toxic, water-based ice cells permanently sewn into the fabric in a pattern optimized for full elbow coverage — including the lateral and medial epicondyle and the olecranon. These ice cells cannot shift, migrate, or fall out of position when you bend or extend your elbow during therapy. The inner rubber-impregnated linen layer protects skin against cryoburn and prevents interior sweating. The entire three-layer system stretches as a single unit, so every component — including the ice cells — presses directly against the injury simultaneously when you tighten the Velcro straps.

Why Self-Timing Matters for Elbow Therapy

The ulnar nerve runs immediately below the medial epicondyle — the most common pain location for Golfer's Elbow. Prolonged cold exposure to the medial elbow can compress or damage this nerve. Cold One's water-based ice cells freeze to 32°F and are engineered to thaw within exactly 15–20 minutes. The session ends automatically. Unlike chemical packs that remain cold for 30–45 minutes and require manual timing, Cold One makes over-icing physically impossible. Ice your elbow 2–3 times daily. Ready to refreeze in 60–90 minutes.

Building a Complete Arm Cold Therapy System

For athletes and workers who need comprehensive cold therapy coverage across the entire arm, Cold One® Elbow Wrap pairs with the Cold One Forearm Wrap (360° icing of the lower arm from wrist to elbow) and the Cold One 3-in-1 Wrist/Hand Wrap. Each wrap in the system freezes independently, allowing different zones to be iced sequentially without waiting for a single wrap to refreeze.

    Safety, Materials, and Care

Cold One® Elbow Wraps are made from non-toxic, non-hazardous materials. The water-based ice cells are safe for direct contact with post-surgical skin. No chemical coolants or additives are used. Dishwasher safe (top rack). Inner linen layer can be wiped with antibacterial solution for clinical use. HSA/FSA reimbursement eligible — confirm with your plan administrator. 30-day 100% satisfaction guarantee. One size fits all adult elbow sizes. Proudly sewn in the USA.
